This project involved seismic strengthening work ordered by Fukuoka City via an open call for proposals. The design was carried out in conjunction with the Mitoma Kensetsu and Shibata & Associates Consortium and a decision on installation was reached based on a comprehensive evaluation. The reinforcing frame members were manufactured at our Kotake plant in Kyushu and assembled on-site. By installing the reinforcing frame on the corridor side, the living environment on the residential side (balcony side) remained unchanged, which was well received by residents. |
